Experience the unique benefits of yoga tailored specifically for women's bodies and health in our Women's Yoga class. This class is designed to address the physical, emotional, and mental needs of women at every stage of life.

LESSON FLOW

  • Centering and Grounding Practice: Begin by cultivating a mindful connection with your body and mind through simple mental exercises and breathing techniques to foster a harmonious balance within yourself.

  • Warm-Up: Practice gentle muscle toning and joint mobility, specifically targeting your shoulders, spine, and hips.

  • Main Flow: Move through gentle sequences of standing and seated poses, fostering strength of your back, hip, and pelvic floor muscles, which improve blood and lymphatic circulation.

  • Preparation for Relaxation: Focus on stress-relieving poses that target common areas of tension, such as the neck, shoulders, lower back, and hips. Promote relaxation through mindful breath, which will also help an expecting mother during the delivery.

  • Guided Relaxation: End with guided relaxation or meditation to soothe the mind.


IMPORTANT 

Our “Women's Yoga” classes warmly welcome expecting mothers who are in their 2nd trimester or beginning of the 3rd trimester, provided they have received clearance from their doctor that it is safe for them to participate.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothes that do not restrain movement (leggings or yoga pants, sports bra for women, T-shirts or tops)

  • Water

  • Face towel


We recommend layering, especially in cooler seasons.

Yoga gear will be provided, but feel free to bring your items.


IMPORTANT

Please refrain from chewing gum, and wearing any type of jewelry and wristwatch during your practice. Please also set your mobile phone to silent mode.
