High Heels dance is empowering for women, as it celebrates strength, confidence, and femininity. It can be a valuable tool for self-expression and body positivity, and can help our students feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies.

LESSON FLOW

High Heels dance is a style of dance that incorporates the use of high-heeled shoes as an integral part of the choreography. It is characterised by focus on sharp, precise movements and a strong sense of femininity and sensuality.  It can be performed in a variety of styles, including hip hop, jazz, and contemporary, and often incorporates elements of vogueing, waacking, and other street dance styles.


Effect on the body

  • In a high heels dance class, several muscle groups are actively engaged to maintain balance, control, and fluid movement.

  • Dancing in heels involves a full-body workout, focusing on strength, stability, and flexibility.

 

No level or dance experience limitations!

WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothes that do not restrain movement (leggings or sports pants, sports bra for women, T-shirts or tops)

  • High heel shoes with ankle support

  • Water

  • Face towel


We recommend layering, especially in cooler seasons.

We may provide the studio shoes for the first lesson.
